In an emotionally surcharged atmosphere inside the seminarhall of the Department of Entomology, College of Agriculture, Raichur, UASR Campus, the students, staff and Key officers of the College bid adieu to the Students of 2021 outgoing Doctoral and Master’s degree(Blue dashers and Emperors) at a farewell function on 23rd of October, 2021.
The programme commenced with the Invocation and welcoming of the gathering. Later the final year students were asked to give their opinions about the department and staff. And the function was addressed by guests, Dr. M. Bheemanna. Dean (PGS), UASR, Dr. J. Ashok, Comptroller, UASR, Dr.Pramod katti, Nodal officer, ICAR, UASR and Dr.Prabhuraj. A. Professor and Head, Dept. of Entomology, UASR and Chief guest, Dr. M.G. Patil, Director of Education, UAS, Raichur where they spoke encouraging words of wisdom for the final year students and also explained the dilemmas which would be a barrier to the legal profession how the students should prepare themselves for the future endeavors and wished them with their motivational speech and also distributed the gifts of momentum to final year students, thereafter juniors also came forward to share their experiences and memories of their beloved seniors.
A video presentation by the juniors made everyone mushy. It reminded them of their yesteryears and home away from home. And the programme continued by a fun game “Pick and Art” which was conducted by the juniors to the seniors and also to the faculty.
Finally, the day was ended with lots of fun, emotions, guidance, encouragement and best of our wishes to the seniors
